Educational and research equipment was supplied to the department of civil engineering, mechanical engineering, and electric power engineering to support the development of highly industrial human resources at the technological universities in Yangon and Manda lay, which are the core universities of engineering in Myanmar. This contributed to the improvement of the educational environment, the implementation of practical education, and the improvement of research capabilities of both universities.

In Malawi, due to the introduction of free primary education in 1994, primary enrolment has increased rapidly with a corresponding increase in secondary enrolment. However, the number of qualified teachers holding a certain level of qualifications remains limited and there is a shortage of teachers to provide quality secondary education. In this project, a three-year Domasi teacher training school was organized into a four-year system to upgrade it to a university with developed facilities and equipment. This contributed to the production of quality qualified secondary teachers and improved basic social services in Malawi.

Saint Christopher and Nevis is a Small Island Developing State (SIDS) whose economy is dependent on the service sector, mainly tourism, and is vulnerable to external factors such as natural disasters and climate change. The government is working to develop the highly profitable agriculture and fisheries sectors, but the equipment at the fisheries facilities that serve as production bases is ageing and needs to be renewed. In this project, we contributed to the sustainable development of the country's fisheries industry by providing fisheries-related equipment (e.g. ice-making equipment and fish-cutting machines).

Fisheries products are an important source of nutrition for the Lao people, accounting for about half of their animal protein intake, and the fishing industry plays an important role in terms of improving livelihoods through sales income and creating employment. Commercial aquaculture is developing in irrigated ponds and river basins, therefore strengthening the fishing industry is an urgent issue not only from the perspective of improving nutrition in the country, but also from the perspective of poverty reduction. In this project, we contributed to the improvement and strengthening of the stable supply of fishery products by providing fishery-related equipment (e.g. fry hatching systems and water quality testing kits).
